Original Toronto Star caption: Two Faces Of Africa; a slice of urban and rural ways of life emerging on the dark continent; intends to take some of the chill out of Toronto's winter over the next couple of weeks. The musical; opening at 8.30 tomorrow night in O'Keefe Centre; swings from modern black jazz to tribal rhythms and features the dances associated with each style. In the lead role of Lulu is beautiful Ursuline Kairson (left); the young Zulu maiden who must choose between the city and life in the village with its ritual and mysticism. Narration is provided by Canadians Denis Smith and Vera Cudgel (beneath) and other members of the cast (top) include 19 South Africans who took part in the original production.
