Original Toronto Star caption: Ivan Wheale: Why is this man smiling? He found what he was looking for. Tranquility. Wheale lef the rat race in Sudbury to paint ancient pink rocks and icebergs. He and his wife; Jean; now live in a house beside a mill; with bluejays and woodpeckers feeding outside the window. I think because of what I do I need isolation; I have worked much better since I have been here.
