Original Toronto Star caption: The sea and the men and ships that sail upon it seem very close in Lunenburg. This is where the original Bluenose; undefeated champion of the Atlantic fishing fleets in the days of sailing ships; was built. Ship building is in a slump these days; but Lunenburg's fishermen are busy.

Cook receives $575 a month for keeping both ships. He lives rent-free aboard the Leitch, in the chief cook's room. [Incomplete]
