Original Toronto Star caption: A ship in drydock at Smith and Rhuland Co. in Lunenburg; N.S.; the shipyard that built the famous Bluenose racing vessel. One of the workers in the shipyard is Billy Mitchell; 21. He started there a few months ago. He'd been fishing for scallops since he was 14 but grew tired of the sea. When you go out to sea you're not really sure of anything; Billy Mitchell says. Here at least you know what you're getting. I think security is what counts these days.
