Original Toronto Star caption: Much like the saddlebag parsons; those peripatetic preachers famous in early Methodist days in Ontario; Father Serson; who is an accomplished horseman and barber as well as carpenter; starts off on a tour of the 30 missions served by the central mission house in Bracebridge. In his saddlebags there are vestments and other liturgical material. Many of the session churches are made-over log cabins or barns.
