Original Toronto Star caption: Dredging carries on as harbor controversy swirls. Dredging operations at Oshawa harbor; which are expected to continue for at least another three weeks; are keeping the dredger Canadian Argosy busy. Harbor; for which a $40;000 expansion has been proposed; is centre of an environmental controversy. Opponents of the expansion say it will endanger marsh area and the economic need for the expansion hasn't been proven. The environmentalists want a wildlife study of the marsh area before the expansion goes ahead.
