Original Toronto Star caption: A huge pool takes a lot of paint. The biggest swimming pool in Ontario; the 1.4-acre saucer-shaped pool just built in the Petticoat Creek Conservation Area at Pickering; is expected to be ready for use Tuesday when conservation area opens. The pool will be six feet deep in the centre and shallow enough for small children around the edges. Up to 3;000 bathers can swim or splash in the pool at once.
