Original Toronto Star caption: Reflections on the gasoline shortage. Taxaco oil refinery on the Port Credit lakeshore operates capacity - 42;000 barrels a day - as gasoline becomes in parts of Canada and in the United States. However; Ray Roy; 19; and Paul Vega; 20; didn't use any gasoline at all to reach their vantage point for viewing the refinery: They has ridden their bicycles down to the landfill area that someday will be a park. The Flare at left is for safety; it burns byproducts of the refining process. One some busy nights; the flare lights up all for Port Credit and can be seen as far away as Toronto.
