Original Toronto Star caption: Oakville's new post-office may open next month. The new post-office at Oakville is rapidly nearing completion and officials hope it may be opened before the end of next month with the postmaster coming from Ottawa for the ceremony. Limestone from the Credit Valley in Halton county forms a beautiful exterior for the building. It is on Colborne St.; near George St. Marble from Bancroft finishes the interior. The building is fireproof and will be entirely devoted to post-office purposes.
