Original Toronto Star caption: Last nun leaves Scarborough hospital. Sister Marie de Liesse, administrator of Scarborough General Hospital since 1961, is the last of the Sisters of Misericorde to leave the hospital, which the order had owned and operated since it was built in 1956. The hospital has been turned over to its board of governors. Among those saying goodby to Sister Marie today are Scarborough Mayor Robert White (second from left) and Oliver Crockford (dark suit, glasses), hospital chairman 11 years.
