Original Toronto Star caption: Still standing. The Scarborough Centennial Memorial Library opened in 1896 and was popular with book borrowers until it closed its door in 1959. It's now used mainly for storage, but there are some people who would like to see it moved to a spot in Thomsom Park. Centennial Memorial Library, located on St. Andrews Road, south side.
