Original Toronto Star caption: Topping off the golden tower; With Duncan McGregor; superintendent of the project; standing by; the last bucket of concrete was poured yesterday at the top of the new Royal Bank building at the corner of Front and Bay Sts. The topping-off ceremony marks the end of basic structural work on the latest addition to the Toronto skyline. The building - with its angular; gold-mirrored exterior - is expected to be ready for occupancy by fall. The contractor is V. K. Mason Construction Limited.
