Original Toronto Star caption: Going, going . . . The Bayview Ghost is a mere shadow of its former self, as the rubble in the foreground indicates. All but one wing of the East York eyesore has been demolished by a wrecking company and even that should be levelled to the ground by tonight.

Desk: Workmen are busy boarding up and taking safety precautions at that 'ghost building' on Bayview Extension we wrote about last week. All the balcony windows from top to bottom have been boarded for the first time anyone can remember. It is the result of our story.
