Original Toronto Star caption: Eaton centre's going up like the big top. A 120-by-60-foot safety net is strung under workers on the glass-roofing frame at galleria of the Eaton Centre under construction at Yonge and Dundas Sts. When finished in 1977; Eaton Centre-an area of almost 15 acres bounded by Yonge; Queen; Bay and Dundas Sts.-will be an office-retail store project extending 900 feet from Dundas to Queen. About 250 stores will be under vaulted glass arch and mall. Second office tower which is to be built at Queen and James Sts.

Big Jim Leeson parks his Cessna Skyplane, zips up his jacket and goes to pay a house call. By flying, Wiarton's Dr. Leeson figures he's beaten one of the biggest problems facing the progessive rural doctor today: Isolation from his colleagues and the big city medical centres. With his Cessna he can hop down to Toronto in an hour for a lecture. Still, he admits, a rural practice might not be every doctor's cup of tea, I'm a farm boy myself...I'm used to it, he says.
