Original Toronto Star caption: Old bridge over the Don Valley to be replaced This bridge over the Don Valley near the brickyards is one suitable for heavier traffic, according to an announcement by H.C. Grout, general superintendent of the C.P.R. The bridge is 1,150 ft. long. It is said that the new bridge will be on the same site. When the change will be made has not been definitely stated, but the announcement intimated that a half a dozen bridges over the Don are to be replaced, the work to commence this summer.
