The magnificent new auditorium of the Eaton's College St. store was officially opened last night in a musicale and supper held under the auspices of the St. Dunstan's chapter of the I.O.D.E. The auditorium an excellent view of which is shown ABOVE, is considered a fine example of art moderne. A black and gold motif is heightened by black seats upholstered in gold and very comfortable. Immediately above the stage, which is seen framed in a gorgeous display of flowers, is a superbly executed bas-relief plaque symbolic of the musical art.
