Original Toronto Star caption: Where yesterday meets tomorrow; A time-machine glimpse of Toronto is captured by Star photographer Boris Spremo. Seen through the 115-year-old railings of Osgoode Hal the $20 million Simpson Tower reaches skyward. The 33-storey building will be completed this summer. The historic railings remain despite various attempts to have them removed.
