Related to article ''Deer Park Church handsome ediface; dedicated by Bishop Sweeney ...'' Toronto Star, 3 June 1910, 19.''||This brick church was opened on Sunday 2 June 1910 on the triangular ''gore'' lot between the west side of Yonge Street and the east side of Lawton Avenue (now Boulevard) replacing a frame church that had stood on the site since 1870. Christ Church (Deer Park) subsequently relocated to a new stone building opened on 1 April 1923 on Yonge Street at the northwest corner of Heath Street West.
