Original Toronto Star caption: Beautiful church architecturally unique. Victoria Presbyterian church; at the corner of Annette St. and Medlant St.; was designed after a committee was sent to examine a Detroit church. They then advocated a square-planned church without galleries; a high tower; and a sweeping roof with its weight supported by four massive pillars. The congregation started in 1885.
