Original Toronto Star caption: Shelter walls confine Rose, Nick must wait. With the dictum of Magistrate Patterson in women's court yesterday consigning Rose Bagnato to the Good Shepherd Shelter, Nick Morgese, who yesterday had a wedding ring in readiness, must wait until at least until Friday, when Rose will be brought out to face the court again. Nick isn't much of an astrologer, but he hopes Friday comes under Venus, or something. Here we see (1) Mrs. Grace Bagnato, aunt of Rose, at whose house the girl spent the weekend, and whom Magistrate Patterson declared was not a suitable person to be Rose's guide,(2) Rose knows the path of true love is no cinch, (3) Nick just biding his time, and (4) Home of the Good Shepherd, the temporary setback in the tender affairs of Rose and Nick.
