Original Toronto Star caption: Hope United Church: Built in 1930 at the corner of Danforth Ave; and Main St.; this is the third church on the site of the original Hope Tabernacle established in 1884 by Rev. John Carroll. Beside it is the manse donated by the Massey family in 1908 as a memorial to Walter Massey.
