The new mayor and aldermen elected in the Dec. 4 civic elections will take office Jan. 1. Alderman David Rotenberg (standing) makes a point while some of his colleagues listen quietly. From the left; they are Aldermen Paul Pickett; Tony O'Donohue and Fred Beavis. O'Donohue and Rotenberg ran unsuccessfully for the mayorally against Alderman David Crombie; they won't be on council any more. Pickett and Beavis were both re-elected as aldermen.
