Original Toronto Star caption: 8;000 soldiers and veterans marched from the Princes' Gates to the CNE Grandstand on Saturday in the 48th Warriors' Day parade. Seventypfive military bands also marched in the parade which took more than an hour to pass the reviewing stand. Taking part was iroquois chief Fred Douglas; of Brantford; marching in his 39th parade. Veterans and families were admitted free to CNE Saturday.
