Original Toronto Star caption: Tommy Thompson boiled when the Trillium didn't steam yesterday. The Metro parks commissioner was angered over press coverage of recently refitted ferry boat's shakedown cruise when two blasts were heard and smoke billowed from its stack. The 65-year-old; steam-driven paddle-wheeler was renovated by Metro at a cost of more than $1 million. Boat was towed back to its berth; there was no damage or injuries. While floatplen lands; Trillium awaits a tow.
