Original Toronto Star caption: Historic building moved 3 blocks. The Victorian Pressed Metal Showroom; an elaborate showpiece built in 1897; was mounted on wheels yesterday and towed from its original location at King and Dufferin Sts. to its new site just east of Lamport Stadium. The Ontario Heritage Foundation helped save the building from demolition and organized the move to the new site; which was provided by the City of Toronto.
