Original Toronto Star caption: Old horse repository sold. Above is a photograph of one of Toronto's historic old buildings; which has just been sold. This is the old Burns horse repository; once a very busy centre; located at the northwest corner of Simcoe and Nelson streets; which has been purchased by J. B. Ruston from C. A. Burns for $45;000. S. E. Lyons; Limited; realtor; the National building; negotiated this transaction. The building is four stories in height; solid brick; and measures 30 by 115 feet to a lane. S. E. Lyons; Limited; also report the sale of 55 Charles street west; an apartment house. Irene Kelso is vendor and William Gibson; purchaser; consideration $15;000.
