Original Toronto Star caption: Old horse repository sold. Above is a photograph of one of Toronto's historic old buildings, which has just been sold. This is the old Burns horse repository, once a very busy centre, located at the northwest corner of Simcoe and Nelson streets, which has been purchased by J. B. Ruston from C. A. Burns for $45,000. S. E. Lyons, Limited, realtor, the National building, negotiated this transaction. The building is four stories in height, solid brick, and measures 30 by 115 feet to a lane. S. E. Lyons, Limited, also report the sale of 55 Charles street west, an apartment house. Irene Kelso is vendor and William Gibson, purchaser, consideration $15,000.
