Original Toronto Star caption: Surely; he can find a home. The Toronto Humane Society shelter on Wellesley St. has a mystery on its hands. Anne Meredith of adoption staff holds Yorkshire terrier someone left tied to a fence in a North York townhouse development on Aug.11. The 18-month-old male had been well-cared for; and was complete with collar; leash and flea collar. Normally; a found dog is kept five days before being put up for adoption; but society thinks dog was not abandoned by owner and still is investigating case.
