Original Toronto Star caption: 46 The lighthouse at Hanlan's Point is Toronto's oldest stone building. It dates from 1806. According to legend the lighthouse is haunted by the ghost of a keeper who was murdered by drunken soldiers; but there is no record of anyone actually seeing the wraith.
