Original Toronto Star caption: Restaurant goes under. Dozens watched from dockside and from aboard sister ship Jadran yesterday as Captain John's floating seafood restaurant buried her decks in Toronto Harbor. Owner John Letnik spotted a small leak and called officials; but the leak became a torrent and the one-time Great Lakes ferry Normac Sank at about 5.30 p.m. She had been holed June 2 when rammed by the runaway paddle-wheeler; the Trillium. Captain John is unsure if the vessel can be refloated and repaired. No one was hurt in the mishap.
