Original Toronto Star caption: The return of warmer weather has summer activity busting out all over Metro. Outdoor cafes such as this one - Egertons Restaurant and Tavern on the corner of Gerrard and Church Sts. - are open again; parks are getting cleaned up; flowers; trees and shrubs planted; and neighborhood ice cream vendors are back on the streets. Egertons is one of 68 taverns in Metro that open up outdoor pub patios to cash in on trade from customers who like to sit in the sun.
