Original Toronto Star caption: Get your hot dogsl: Donning an apron for the occasion; Toronto Mayor Art Eggleton helped hand out hot dogs and pop at the sesquicentennial barbecue at Nathan Phillips Square yesterday. A crowd of about 25;000 gobbled up 20;800 hot dogs and 20;800 Cokes at the event; which organizers hope will go into the Guinness Book of Records as the largest wierie roast in history.

Still you can't seem to resist snacking on a hot dog smothered with onions, relish and mustard at a baseball game or a rock conert. How do you break your automatic habit pattern? That question was put to Dr. Richard B. Stuart, psychological director of the 600,000 members of Weight Watchers International. He was in Toronto recently to promote his new Book of the Month Club bestseller, Act Thin, Stay Thin (George J. McLeod, $11.50).

Super hot dog salesman is Manfred Doblinger president of VS services Ltd., which sold nearly one million hot dogs at Exhibition stadium last year. He may get permission to sell beer this summer but he's not too enthusiastic about the idea. It would be expensive, and - horros - cut down hot dog sales.
