Original Toronto Star caption: Brock School criticized by fire chief.
Brock Ave. and Dovercourt public schools are fire hazards and are "unfit
for school purposes", according to the report of Fire Chief George
Sinclair and Buildings Commissioner K. S. Gillies. The 50-year-old Brock Ave.
school shown ABOVE, is attended by 422 pupils. It is said to have poorly
located open stairways and a hot air heating system which make it unfit for
use.

Address of school is now (2020) on
Margueretta Street.
