Original Toronto Star caption: Three catering firms have set up within doors of each other on Avenue Rd. and food writer Jim White challenged them to produce menus for the holiday season guaranteed to impress the boss. Abbey Catering's Gerry and Ladka Sweeney (second and third from left) with staff; La Cuisine's Christine Mullen (centre left) and her crew; and En Ville's team led by Geoffrey Johnson (in suit) and Simon Hartley; came up with winners for less than $25 per guest.
