Subway track clearance checked

Original Toronto Star caption: Subway track clearance checked. With the Spadina section of the Toronto Transit Commission subway system nearing its projected mid-October opening. TTC workmen check tunnel and station roof and width with guage car. The car; used only once on each track after it is built; has dimensions of normal subway carriage and is towed by locomotive while crews check that cars will clear all new installations along the track. Real subway cars won't start for three months but TTC hopes to be ready. [Incomplete]
