The bright; crisp spring weather is bringing out not only legions of green-thumbed gardeners but also street and highway crews bent on repairing the ravages of winter. These Toronto Transit Commission workers were hard at work yesterday restoring the roadway between streetcar tracks after the old road surface had been ripped out. The resurfacing job-on Dundas St. E. between Church st. and Yonge St.-created a traffic bottleneck in the late afternoon. For drivers caught in the jam and anixous to get home . . . well; at least it beats the snow and slush.
