The Pet-A-Pet program; sponsored by the animal centre; began at the Markham Rd. lodge last May after manager; Don Mitton; read about similar programs in San Francisco; Dallas; Fort Worth and London; Ont. The centre plans to take animals to seven or eight seniors' homes a month.
