Original Toronto Star caption: Happy hooker: Edna Boothe; 91; a resident of Seven Oaks Retirement Home in Scarborough; reads to the children in the day-care centre housed in the home. Boothe's favorite pastime is hooking rugs. She also knits slippers for other residents of the home and crochets baby items. She is presently working on two rugs.
