Original Toronto Star caption: The hills of connemara loom above this quiet stream where a visitor wets his line and hopes for; if not a trophy; at least his dinner. Such peaceful glades; where you can picnic; fish or relax in the shade by the running stream are found all through the mountain ranges of western Galway. And there's little fear of overcrowding since; though sheep and donkeys are many; men are few. The best way to see the area is by rental car; which gives you control over your own time and stops.
