Original Toronto Star caption: When a lady is an popular as Elsie the cow; grooming gets top priority. Here Ruth Argue; attendant at the Borden bungalow at the C.N.E.; adjusts Elsie's new bonnet. Yesterday; Children's Day; was very busy for Elsie and son Beauregard. They had 35;496 visitors. One-third of money collected goes to The Star Fresh Air Fund; one-third to The Hospital for Sick Children and one-third to the 14 Lions clubs of Greater Toronto for their sight conservation program.
