Original Toronto Star caption: Taking a dive is Tippy; one of the entrants in the dog swimming race being held at the CNE tomorrow. The first Ex dog derby; dreamed up by The Star's sports department; was first held in 1933. Tippy does a little practising in the pool of his owner's home. Mrs. Ross Melhuish says; We might retire him after this year. But then we said that last year. Tippy has won in his class nine years in a row.
