Original Toronto Star caption: Celebrity cooks serve hot dogs with relish; Singer Eartha Kitt, left, and CITY-TV's Jeanne Beker were among a host of celebrities who helped kick off the Variety Club Telethon by serving hot dogs yesterday afternoon at an outdoor barbecue at Shopsy's on Yonge St. The public could purchase the hot dogs with a donation and, since the Shopsy's wieners and Silverstein's buns were donated, all the money went to the Variety Club.
