Original Toronto Star caption: They bronzed his favorites. When world-famous heart surgeon Dr. Wilfred Bigelow, 64, retired in October as head of Toronto General Hospital's cardiovascular unit, he was too embarrassed ask what had happened to clogs he had worn in operating rooms for 15 years. He found out last night when 24 of his former scrub nurses gathered to present him with the bronzed clogs at Csarda Tavern. Head nurse Jessie Doyle is with him.
