Original Toronto Star caption: Billy Bishop's bright idea: Sometime in the 1940s, Canada's World War I flying ace Billy Bishop had a dozen light bulbs made - each with a model DC-3 Dakota inside. The Victoria Cross-winning pilot would give the bulbs to friends as gifts - and at least one of the fragile bulbs has survived Bishop, who died in 1956. Stewart Morrison, 28, of Mississauga (above), has one of the unusual bulbs - and it still works. He's been told it may be worth $5,000.
