Original Toronto Star caption: Inadequate office?: Protesting that her office and reception area doesn't work as a greeting place for visitors, York borough Mayor Gail Christie has won council's approval for $ 15,000 to spruce it up. Christie, who originally asked for $25,000, says water stains mar her office furniture and that carpeting, blinds and reception area dividers need improving - to improve the borough's image.
