In her hasty departure from the airport, she forgot her mink coat which lay abandoned on the waiting-room floor (above) until a member of her party retrieved it. When she walked onto the O'Keefe Centre stage at 8.30 p.m. for the first of four weekend concerts, behind her lay three receptions, a rehearsal, a leisurely dinner - and our exhausted reporter.
