Original Toronto Star caption: Yes, But where are the pancakes. In a loose re-enactment of 500-year-old pancake race held annually in Olney, Buckinghamshire, to mark Shrove Tuesday, teams of politicians, amateur and professional athletes, and media representatives competed yesterday over a special course on Gerrard St., between Bay and Yonge Sts. It ended in tie-breaking race between Scarborough Mayor Paul Cosgrove (right) and CITY-TV reporter Peter Gross. won.
