Artist Alex Colville is brushing up his paintings, preparing for the First Major Retrospective of his work, at The Art Gallery of Ontario July 22 through Sept. 18. Fifty-seven painting, nearly half the work Colville has done in his 40 year career, will be on display, including My Father And His Dog (1968), above. Ninety-six preparatory drawing will also be shown.
