The hero of 14,500 people in the Forum at Ontario Place Wednesday night, when he danced lead role in National Ballet's production of La Sylphide, Baryshnikov has been engaged to perform with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet in October, when Manitoba audiences will get their first look at him.
