Original Toronto Star caption: From one mayor to another. The first replica of the Toronto mayor's chain of office was presented to Bert Wemp, mayor in 1930, by Mayor David Crombie. Wemp, 85, is in North York General Hospital with a heart condition. The gift brought tears to his eyes.
